| Bauhinia Hybrid Bauhinia x blakeana I just had this tree planted 3 weeks ago. It is a 6 ft sapling, trunk approx. 1" in diameter. My local nursery offered this tree as an Arbor Day special and it was planted by nursery employees. I've been instructed to water it daily for a month (by filling up the "bowl" around the planting area) until it's established. I'm located in south florida and the tree seems to having issues with aphids and a type of beetle. I'm not sure if I am able to treat the tree with anything to deal with the pests while it's being established. looking for advice on this topic. | Plants |  (PlantFiles) |
