| Lamium Species Lamium purpureum This is a small, very pretty plant which is in bloom along with Creeping Charlie. The bottom leaves are green and shade to an almost glowing purple on the uppermost leaves. Grows profusely in the early Spring, then disappears as May ends. It may be considered an invasive weed, but I'm glad I have it for the short time it is flourishing. Narcissis poeticum var. recurvus Pheasant Eye Daffodil This is also called Poet's Daffodil. I rescued these from an old overgrown property that was being bulldozed.
