| Plectranthus Species Coleus canina This plant has enabled me to utilize a long peat container hanging off my porch rail. My cat ALWAYS loved lying IN the container--plants or no plants. I had tried multiple home remedies to keep her out. I found this plant at a local produce stand, planted it on each end of the container with my impatiens in the middle, and had a wonderful, cat-free growing season. The only thing is that the impatiens need water everyday and the coleus canina needs in rarely; I simply watered the mid-section of the container, and the coleus received enough to do well without direct watering. I plan to propagate cuttings indoors so I have enough to use in my vegetable garden next year--no rabbits, no dogs, no cats. | Plants |  (PlantFiles) |
