Caragana Species
Caragana arborescens

I can snag seeds before the chickens get them for other poultry enthusiasts. The chickens jump up to get low-hanging pods...so cute. I overwatered mine and they defoliated completely before reviving and putting on another bloom even :) (I had them on the same soaker line as the grapes--now deleted their irrigation from that line completely.) Drowning the shrubs has been reported as a good way to eradicate them if unwanted. I am hoping the chickens will forage the seeds when they pop and keep any volunteers contained to the run--I got these shrubs for chicken forage, windbreak, and shade in the chicken run.

Red Twig Dogwood
Cornus sericea

My cultivar was called "Arctic Sun", and I believe it is a dwarf variety derived from the "Midwinter Fire" cultivar. It's well established and will need annual pruning, so cuttings will be available, perhaps plants if I decide to propagate.

Jasminum Species
Jasminum nudiflorum

Took off nicely in the summer of 2015. Has rooted a few branches in a couple spots in my shrub bed, so can dig a nice rooted cutting or two for trade.

May have cuttings from pruning 2016.

Large-flowered Climbing Rose
Rosa

I've started a few cuttings, and have let several hips mature this summer (may be self-pollinated or pollinated by the Don Juan at the front of the yard, so may or may not be true). I plan on planting the seeds and seeing what comes up. Can probably spare cuttings at any time, since it's taken over its large trellis.

First year 2012 from container plant (even let two small bunches mature), happy to provide cuttings, perhaps own-root in future (grafted rootstock may be preferable depending on your climate and soil).

Vitis vinifera

My sources list this as hardy to zone 5. First year 2012, happy to provide cuttings, perhaps own-root in future (grafted rootstock may be preferable depending on your climate and soil). One of my most vigorous vines planted on the arbor.

Has not bloomed yet...planted around 2010. I have two varieties, and can't be sure which is Macrobotrys and which is Longissima Alba.
