| Pole Bean Phaseolus vulgaris My husbands uncle was in World War 2. He must have brought back a few of the beans with him. I think he must have grown them. He died in 2001 and I found the beans at the farm....just a few. He must have brought them back with him from Germany. I planted some and they bore two years ago. I saved the beans and have planted more this year. I am very curious about he beans since they have the monstrance emblem on them.
