SOLD OUT.runners. Snap dragon-like but smaller without having to buy the snaps every year. Similar looking to annual linaria, but this only comes in yellow. I've had it for 2-3 years. It has spread less than 2 ft. Blooms mid Aug for 6 weeks.

Don't know that I have the fremont type. Sold to me as Sundrops. One will make about a dozen for next years blooms. Easy to remove and transplant elsewhere. Blooms 40 days in my garden starting june 5. easy. my pic.
I like this one as it feeds the japanese beetles when they emerge. It is already done blooming so I don't care. It keeps them off my other blooms to some extent.

Not as invasive with rampant growth like the nonvariegated type, but it will grow to fill in over time. Leans over. 4 ft tall so when it leans over it really leans over! Gets some pink colors to the foliage with autumn.

Nice on paver trail. I prefer its smooth surface to the lumps of creaping thyme. Only 1 1/2 inches tall. I have an entire garden covered with this as a living mulch. I'd rather see green than brown dirt.

has no tolerance for foot traffic and for some reason dies off on a east facing side of a berm every year. West facing does fine... go figure.

Pastel yellow and does fine in shade and full sun here. Fragrant if you are close by. Tends to lean so I lop it off after flowering. Flowers June 7 for 42 days here.
Leaves are delicate looking. Not a good pic.

very impressive in size at 4 ft tall and did not have any weather or bug damage. I'm very excited to have this in my garden. Lovely water plant. my pic.
It has survived our zone 5 winter for the past 2 years!. It is not supposed to be hardy here. I'm shocked...in a good way!

This type is reliable and hardy. In various shades of lighter purple and yellow too- early blooming even with harsh spring weather- - my pic. Blooms well into November.
A tip for the budget savey: I've purchased other colors but very few are back after winter. Those that have usually failed here are viola-, all purple, all orange, all white, and all yellow. At least I can save you the money of buying a perennial that is really an annual...
