Boophone disticha

I have several of these. There may be different subspecies as they appears to be either winter or summer growers, perhaps depending on location of the originating plant. I crossed pollen from my summer growing (spring blooming) plant on my winter growing (summer blooming) plant, which produced about 130 pea sized/colored seeds. Most of these have germinated and are growing now (November, 2007.)
