| Boophone Species Boophone disticha I have several of these. There may be different subspecies as they appears to be either winter or summer growers, perhaps depending on location of the originating plant. I crossed pollen from my summer growing (spring blooming) plant on my winter growing (summer blooming) plant, which produced about 130 pea sized/colored seeds. Most of these have germinated and are growing now (November, 2007.) | Roots, Tubers and Bulbs | (PlantFiles) |

| Brunsvigia Species Brunsvigia litoralis similar to Brunsvigia josephinae, but not as large and faster to bloom from seed (in 5 or 6 years.) Leaves fewer and narrower than B.josephinae. Winter growing, summer deciduous. Water in winter, dry in summer while dormant. | Seeds, Roots, Tubers and Bulbs | ![]() (PlantFiles) |
