| Schotia Species Schotia brachypetala Here in Australia commonly called"Drunken Parrot Tree" as the lorikeets love to feed on the fermenting nectar...not uncommon to see the odd one or two staggering around after a good feed lol! The nectar is attractive to many other species of nectar feeding birds too and when in flower they come from all around...the fruit bats then take their turn to feed on the nectar at night!
