Epipactis Gigantea

I have both the more common green variety and the purple, Serpentine Night variant from Northern California. Great plant, mimics the form of a bee or wasp to attract pollinators. Grows well in a wide range of habitats. A must have for hardy orchid growers and a good starter for the beginner. Keep this plant moist in a well-drained area and it will thrive. Not the invasive, european Helleborine Epipactis.
