Forsythia forsythia strong basic forsythia. Fast growing, self propagating if you let them sprawl. Or prune and next year it will burst into a solid yellow show of flowers. Sometimes blooms in fall as well. My plants sprawl down a bank in my yard and have made lots of little junior forsythias which I could dig up if anyone needs them. | Plants, Roots, Tubers and Bulbs, Cuttings | ![]() (Melissande) |

| Species Iris iris sibirica honestly not sure of these little fellows' provenance, could be Siberian, could be Japanese. They seem to be the most common dark blue exotic type iris (i.e. not a bearded iris). They multiply like blue-blazes and make a spectacular show in late May. spirea bridal wreath This was gathered from a deserted homestead, so no idea what particular cultivar. It is vigorous and bursts into frothy long fronds of pure white flowerettes in early May. Makes an attractive green hedge or individual feature the rest of the year. Lack of pruning does NOT lead to less flowering. | Plants | (PlantFiles) |
