| Chamaerops Species Chamaerops humilis var. argentea The Silver European Fan Palm is much more cold hardy than the standard green version.I have 4 of them,growing in the ground.I planted them last spring and they have no damage from our winter cold.We got down to 12 degrees for two nights and it dident get above freezing for six days this past winter,it was a record breaking winter for low temps. and prolonged freezing temps.This palm is definitely cold hardy in zone 7b mabey even zone 6b. | Plants | (PlantFiles) |
