Rosa
Once blooming very fragrant gallica rose. Ht. is about 3 to 3.5 ft.. It blooms in June for several weeks in Zone 5 Massachusetts. Foliage stays nice for me. Easy to grow, easy to transplant. It is so hardy that I have set some into shallow gallon pots and left them out in the snow and ice over the winter -- they are beginning to leaf out now. I have photos of the blooms, plants, and bare canes for anyone who is interested in seeing this rose.
From what I've read, the correct name is 'Boula de Nanteuil' -- references later when I have time.
