Paul, I am very interested in your TPS. The only ones I've ever grown are the red ones from the grocery store that finish in a little over 3 months. I like the fact that they finish so quickly to allow me to plant summer stuff like okra and squash in their space. This year I think I had some virus and it would be great to get some variety from seed much like we order our tomato seed. How long from germination to harvest do you think? I'm surprised that you're starting this time of the year. Does that mean they're not just cool season crops from seed?

Lakeland, FL(Zone 9b)

no there cool seson crops thats why there not in the ground to hot . listen TPS poatoes can grow for 6 months till 9 months . you start the seeds in door around jan where you are . then in march or april you transplant out side . TPS carry no Virus Most Bugs wont touch theam . the seeds are good for ten years or more to. dont have to keep all those seed poatoes around plus you get lots more poatoes from TPS Paul

It sounds like I need to try some. Where are you getting seeds or is it a secret? Do you have a good link to cultural info for them?
