Unidentified Bird

Lodi, CA(Zone 8b)

I see these birds in my garden from time to time and they seem to live near the Delta here in the San Joaquin Valley of California. They have a beautiful song and I hope someone can identify it.

Thanks.

Yes! Any way it is a Northern Mockingbird.

Mockingbirds are fun...I have a pair that hand around here in the yard and they have the most amazing repertoire of songs.

I still can't understand the Mockingbird I saw in Texas, doing a note-perfect imitation of a European Song Thrush . . . how on earth did it learn that??

I wonder if there are thrushes here who have a song similar to the European Song Thrush?
