This past week has been dreadful. Every bud was knocked off because of high winds. I couldn't rescue them because I had ankle surgery. BIG UGHHHH Now my cacti hating mother and friends are taking care of the collection. I'm cringing with fear. They think its fun to come in and say one of the _________ are yellow at the base does that mean it's rotted? That and the evil laughs as they walk through the house.

Oh! I am so sorry about your plants. It's heart breaking to see all that happening but unable to rescue. I hope your ankle heals fast.

My mother keeps lovingly stroking the Roundup and talking about weeds in the rock garden. I told her she was going to wake up and find dead Daisies and Plumbago's in her bed like the horse head in the Godfather. To top it off the cute neighbor is moving. (Heavy sigh)
