Muhli Grass

I just bought a pot that's jam packed with muhli grass. I've never grown it before. Can I divide it before I plant it?
The rest of the story is that I visited my favorite unique little nursery this morning. I paid $10 for a gallon sized pot that had a fairly small clump in it. On the way home I stopped at another nursery and found a larger pot with four times as much for $7.89! Oh, well...

Yes you can divide it, no problem, keep it well watered for a while.
