I am not ignoring anyone, but am going to be off computer

I was recovering from abdominal surgery when I joined Dave's Garden. I was doing really well and had thought any chances of problems were past.


I had the surgery May 21, and staples removed from the incision 11 days later on June 1. Everyone was amazed at how well I was healing. Unfortunately, this past Wednesday night (June 3) I dropped something and automatically bent over to pick it up. At which time, I split open. The entire incision site opened wide up. Was rushed to e.r. and after almost 4 hours of waiting, the doctor there re-closed it with staples.

I am having a lot of pain and am on limited movement and such. Mostly bed rest kind of stuff with only short small walks. I see the surgeon (surgery was done in a different state than we live in) this coming Tuesday, June 9. I am sure they are going to keep the staples in much longer this time, and might even do other things for additional support of the incision.

I am not ignoring anyone, and I do thank you all who have written to me. I will be off the computer until better healed so won't be able to be on here. I just wanted to let you all know, what is going on and that I love being part of Dave's Garden and will be back as soon as I can.
