This is our outdoor cat Garfield. I found him sitting on the woodpile grooming himself. He just looked to handsome not to capture a couple of pictures.
He is not livestock or poultry but just too handsome not to
I agree!
Yep, it was a picture perfect opportunity I couldn't pass up.
What a great pic, don'cha just love it when such wonderful neighbors drop in? What a great opportunity to seize the moment. Hay
o he's adorable!
He is a spoiled old boy. Comes in and eats and naps and he's out and about again. Very mild tempered. We inherited him after a neighbor moved and couldn't take him along. We took him and got his shots and got him altered so he wouldn't roam too far. We have had hiim for about 2 years now. i think he is getting close to 3 years old.
Thats why I've never moved out.. no where that I can take my 8 cats, dog, 33 chickens & other such small critters that take up living in my house. :)
I love yellow cats
Here is our other cat Cali. She stays indoors. We got her a few months back. My daughter had a cat that looked very similar to this that died suddendly last September. I think I posted a picture of her when she died. It was very hard on my daughter. This one is not the same of course but has eased the pain for my daughter.
Her and Garfield get along fairly well. She is getting used to the chickens. My kids bring in a chick every now and then. She is curious but leaves them alone.
They both look like very happy cats!
Oh, I had an orange cat a few years ago. He would purr so loud you could hear him 10 feet away!
I love that pic of him on the woodpile.
Perfect spot for the outdoor cat....a woodpile. He can sit up there and spot the varments. Actually he sits up there and bathes himself and snoozes, but he does catch varments.
he looks like king of the wood pile up there
