We are really struggling with our 8-year-old sprinkler system. Way too many spray heads that waste a lot of water and still don't properly water individual areas. Professional installers have not offered anything suitable. Guess we'll have to do it ourselves because I want to be able to change flowers from season to season with different watering requirements. At this time, we think we will go with the DIG adjustable emitter heads that can be installed on existing risers. Would sure like to hear from someone who has experience doing this.
Thanks.
Retrofitting existing sprinkler risers to use drip emitters
We have some head that have "bubblers" on them that work well, but you may find that it doesn't cover enough of the bed. Sometimes I think I need a computer controlled system where I can turn each individual head on or off. Well, I know I want it, but can't imagine what it would cost!
