My Hibiscus isn't as full as it used to be.

My Hibiscus used to be full and healthy, but this year it looks puny with sparse leaves and not many blooms. Any suggestions?

Do you have a photo of the hibiscus as it is now, from what I read on your thread it might need a little trimming to force it to produce new side shoots, but can't really say without seeing it. with a photo more hib lovers might be able to help you get it back into shape and produce more blooms.

have you sprayed it with anything for insects last year? I made the mistake of using som malathion on mine one year and nearly killed it.. found out that was a big no, no! took it over a year to come back. Also is it in the ground or in a pot? That is a good place to start with looking for problems.
