Have 2 well rooted "plantlets" of Carolina Yellow Jasmine
Could it grow inside for the winter?
I don't know, I guess so. It's a winter bloomer here, and mine is huge. you might ask some of the other northern gardeners if they've overwintered it inside.
I didn't see any northerners on the PlantFiles entry. :(
carrie, go to the forums list and you will find at the bottom of the page a forums list of different areas in the states and there are forums for the northern section of the country.
Oh, I know, but it's easier to see if there's someone nearby who has grown it. Have YOU, flowerfantasy?
Well I really haven't any experience with that one in particular but I do have a night blooming Jasmine and It will have to come in during the winter here and from everything I have found out they will survive in a green house during the winter if it is warm enough. So I am going to find out this winter if mine will survive. Sorry I couldn't help more carrie.
I don't think I'll try - I don't have a greenhouse. I barely have enough space inside for my inside plants. It would be insane. Thanks anyway. :)
I have a jasmine that is not hardy in my zone for the ground and I keep it in a container in the winter time and move it into my sunroom.
