I just bought it the other day and then noticed mushy and slimy leaf stems. I started to withhold water a bit and have segregated it from my elephant ears, where it was to be planted. Any suggestions?
What is wrong with my Philodendron Selloum?
It's having an identity crisis, as the plant is now known as Philodendron bipinnatifidum. (Just kidding!)
It looks pretty healthy; maybe wait till the soil feels dry before flooding the pot. The plant likes to have it's leaves misted with water, but likes to be well drained as well.
That's what I am trying. As long as it's not some horrific fungus or something that will spread. The soil is very dry now but it was so humid this morning that my camera fogged up. For pete's sake.
It needs a new pots and it might be time for that. I always feel sorry for plants at the nursery.
Thanks for the help and the proper ident.
