I got mine from a friend. I have never seen them around. I have had them 20 yrs.
I reall do tove them. But this year not letting go to seed. After that long it is more than I want.
Blessings.
Sandy
Mine own a couple of my flower beds and I treat them as weeds.
well once i get that many of this one i plan on moving them to a spot that maybe they won't like as much. but you know i find that plants that i can pull each spring for new compost is a good thing for my garden.
Tes MJ, some of the newer hybrids are available around here in the Spring time, they are a little
pricey but worth the investments(!!) they come back so well and do make a few new plants each year too.
Mama, I've got a really nice tall orange one called Orange King. It's really showy. It does a little reseeding but doesn't get out of hand .I could send you a good amount of this plant if you like. I'm always looking for daylilies and hosta maybe you have some to trade? Or what else might you have?

I( love that orange one. I have the parrot lily also. I told a nursey to come dig some she is a real sweetheart. It is a weed now especially now after 20 yrs.
Kay how do you get rid of the ones you don't want? Do you round up? The tubers are not so easy to pull up. I am cutting off the seeds this year. I am not letting them mature.
did anybody on this thread send me any alstroemeria already?
