Hello Everyone :) you all have very nice photo's and I really enjoy looking at them. Thx to DG for letting me share photo's.
I live near several reserves and I have my eyes on my backyard constantly for the spring migration north. I have many photos i would like to share and i will try to keep the picture quality high.
Warbler photo's taken at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge aka McGee Marsh
Prothonotary Warbler with lunch
Nice pics!
Wrong tail pattern for Kirtland's; I'd say female Magnolia Warbler.
Resin
Very nice shots Burd! Welcome to the forum!
Thankyou and your probably right on the Kirtland's, I see some markings that resemble the necklace of the Magnolia, but i,m still working on not mixing up the Canadian Warblers with the Magnolia's, those 1st year birds make it difficult somtimes.
What's that second one? Too cute. and WELCOME
Prothonotary Warbler, he flew onto the handrail of the boardwalk to eat the large Mayfly.
