After many years, I finally have ALOT (35) Alocasia seed pods growing on my plants. Though I did pick 2 premature, I'm now waiting until they pop open.
Is that correct? I wait til they pop open?

New Alocasia Seed Pods
If they have been fertilized, yes, you must wait until the covering peels back to reveal the red or orange berries. It usually takes about two months from bloom to berry, based on my years of pollinating Alocasias and harvesting ripe berries. In cool weather, it can take longer.
Sometimes a pod will hang around for a month or so, then die off without opening. If that happens, no fertilization took place.
