No, Sylvia, I'm going to my parents' house tomorrow to finish up their beds over there. I'm not sure about Thursday.

It looks like a heuchera to me. See if this looks familiar. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/11538/

There are a number of different ones. I think they almost all need shade. You'll find a lot of them in PlantFiles if you search for Coral Bells. Hope this helps.

Crow thanks, its shaped like a Heucherra, but its not a Heucherra, the leaves feel Hairy or furry. I need to look at the Arlington pictures, maybe I can recognize the person who gave it to me. I know was man and his wife.

Looks like gunnera. You'd be able to tell pretty quickly if it is!

... maybe ... it just dont look like any of mine. If it is a Gunnera, Sheila you can have it ... because it requires a lot of space.

City, no, I haven't ever tried to plant one. I'd like to one day, though.

NO...I don't think I need one of those, just looked them up. I have two Bear's britches that I am sure will take over the rest of my shade that I don't use for hostas and ferns.
