One day while visiting my mom, I decided to have a glass of the Kool-Aid in her fridge. How could I know this was her hummingbird food? It was GROSS.
Have any of you ever accidentally took a drink of this stuff? It's so fun to laugh at the dumb things I've done.

No echinacea, but my husband has thrown my hummer food down the drain, because he thought it was water! I don't put any coloring in hummer food, so it does look like water.
He SHOULD have drank some of it! :)

Hummers need very concentrated sweet calories to maintain their high-energy requirements. We don't. Any person who might like the taste of that would have a very serious sugar addiction.
I have prevented my family members from drinking the nectar I made a couple of times now. They think it lemon lime Kool-aid.
