Oh I think it is pretty awesome...but can't afford to pay as much as they want, so hoping someone will have even just one small rhizome they would trade....

I know what you mean mjsponies - they have this canna in one of my small lumber yards down here and they want $30 for it. In no way can I spend that! They are so beautiful though, but I can wait!! If I come across some - I will let you know!

First of all, that picture in the link has been doctored considerably via contrast and color saturation. What you see is not what you get.

Second, there was a really interesting legal battle going on considering the name. You can go here to read about it.

Third .. this canna is also name Tropicanna and Durban and there are 2 people who have them for trading in plant files.

Thanks everyone....someone is sending me some, and they explained that it does not look quite as impressive as the picture in the link, but it is still very nice...

My opinion of Plant Delights went down a few notches. No excuse for that kind of deception in my opinion.
