I Have An Arbor!

Bend, OR(Zone 5a)

I came home from work this week to find my DH built me an arbor over the front door.

IT IS AWESOME!

Today I got some honeysuckle and clematis for it.

I also got some chinese wisteria for the smaller one he built me for Mother's Day. IT say is cold tolerant to -30

A good day I must say!

Very nice. He did a great job. It'll be fun to watch the vines take over.

That is lovely. It really will make a fine entryway and smell good too with the honeysuckle.

That is possibly why he built me the arbors...and the tree.

He bought a $1700 set of cookware.

I wouldn't know the difference between that and a Dollar Tree pan...

but I do know a $150 daylily when I see it!

Ginger, LOL on the daylily. What kind of cookware? He should have consulted me first. :) I would have recommended Aga cookware which has flat lids for stacking inside the oven and for storage, does a great job cooking, AND cleans up like a dream. Not cheap but also not $1700. Or it could be if you bought a whole lot of it, doubling up on some sizes.

We have family in Bend so we get over there sometimes. My husband and his 2 brothers own a cabin on the Mckenzie
River, in McKenzie Bridge, so I've spent a lot of time in that area. Next time I'm coming thru I'll let you know and your hubby can cook me dinner. I can also pick up the arbor he wants to build me. LOLOL

Have you been to the gardens at the hot springs near McKenzie Bridge? They're awesome and last time I was there, they were free to wander thru.

He bought the waterless American Craft something at the homeshow.....

I like the idea of the Hot Springs gardens..I'll have to check that out sometime (in my spare time)
