One of my baby ducks hatch today

One of my baby Mallards Ducks hatch today in the incubator.I watched it hatch today.It started pecking the hole yesterday and today it come out of the egg.Here are the stages of it hatching.

Here is a picture of the baby all dry and in its bed.It use a food bowl as half of its bed.LOL!!!!!!

eggs don't hatch in unison, it seems..

It's neat watching them hatching.Now i have two goose eggs trying to hatch.One has pecked the egg so far.I guess it is resting then it will start again so it can build its energy back up to peck again,you can see the egg moving and hear it peep.

It is amazing how much faster ducks get out of the egg compared to chickens.

I wouldn't know about chickens don't have any.I raise Ducks and Geese.
