I am hoping for some advice here. I have a pretty little butterfly bush that I planted last year. It did very well throughout the summer and into early fall, so I expected no trouble with it coming back this year. Unfortunately, it is showing no signs as yet of doing that. Should I continue to be patient, or accept that it is gone? I live in NE PA(Pocono Mts) in a 4b/5a climate. Any help would be appreciated.
Light a Candle for my butterfly bush...
It is probably a goner. All of ours have come back by now. We lose a couple butterfly bushes every year or two. I have found the white flowered ones to be the most hardy in our yard (zone 5a)
Thanks...I kind of had a feeling that would be the case. :( Ah well, guess it just gives me an excuse to go plant shopping. :D
