Brugs Leaves Pointing Straight Up?

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

Im new to brugs, having received my first two rooted cuttings just about 2 months ago. Tonight, as I was locking up, I glanced onto the patio and saw that both brugs leaves were pointing straight up. This wasnt the way they were a few hours ago. is this normal? do they do this at night and maybe this is the first I had noticed?

Many of mine do this at night. Not unusual. I do not know which ones do it the most though.

ok...LOL. whew, just wanted to make sure they were alright. I had never noticed them doing this before, but then again, Im never on the back porch after dark (Im a mosquito buffet). Thanks, now I can take a breath!

Get a spray bottle and put some listerine mouthwash in it.. I have heard mosquitoes don't like it and stay away.. I am their favorite meal also and am trying it. I usually get eaten alive when in the garage working and tried it today.. was out there about 2 hours today.. sprayed the area.. not a single bite. Test # 1 successful. Smelled good too!

LOL. you smelled 'Minty Fresh'... WOOT. yes, I dont understand how some people (namely my best friend) can be out in the evening and not get touched, while I am covered in welts. Last time I was complaining, she thought I was being a baby.. until we finally went inside and counted over 30 welts. She shall never doubt my word again.

It is my experience that all healthy Brugs fold their leaves up at night. I like to think of them praying and thanking God for their day, and the one to come.
