I was cleaning and filling my feeders and when I walked in the house this chipmunk took a quick snack.
sneaky chipmunk
LOL, that is funny luckie!
chipmunks are so adorable. You were very lucky to get such cute pictures of him trying to be sneaky! LOL
They are so cute. I love watching them sprint across an expanse of lawn.
Now I know how a sunflower seed got into a container of butterflyweed seeds I have growing! LOL
Great catch!
That's just too cute
Hilarious!
Hahahah
i want a chippie!
I love Chippies!!
Careful what you wish for! They can be as destructive as they are cute!
I have lots of them here; they do like to go into freshly potted plants but otherwise they haven't caused any problems.
Thanks op, thats too cute! I rescued a chipmunk when was in grade school. My dad let me keep him. He was a great pet. As a adult I would not keep one as a pet. I do feed the ones outside and I have a ton of them. They are fun to watch.
Yah, pretty cute. I have squirrels and some mice in the compost bin, so what's another critter? LOL.
The chipmunk I get seems to be happy with the sunflower seeds he gets from the spillover on the ground. Then I get little clumps of them growing under my deck. I have read that if you build a rock wall with lots of spaces, that is something they like(climbing up, over, through and around). My 5 year old would love that.
Maybe you can just give your chipmunks her little play house!
;)
She would love that. I moved it out of the yard and up on the porch by the house. She likes it better. It stays cleaner and not so many spiders. BUT the wasps are looking into as a home :( Anyways I guess if I put down a jug of seed maybe the chippies would follow the trail and move in.
Ha. that would be funny.
Last October when I was in Indiana, I watched a chipmunk with a HUGE cheekful of food run into a hole. A few minutes later he came out, sans puffy cheeks! So adorable.
I have an abundance of chipmunks in my yard this year. I discovered one of their "lairs." They are cute.
