I have H. imperialis but it's never bloomed so I have no idea which one it may be. I'm sure it's just a more common variety but I sure would be ecstatic if it looked like gothqueen's "Pink Pearl. I love the pink bloom and the splotches on the leaves too!

Really interesting, GQ!!! Is that from Asiatica? I have never seen that mottling before....beautiful!

Gainesville, FL

Yes. I got these from Asiatica maybe 2 years ago

Shepherdstown, WV

How big are the flowers?

Gainesville, FL

Like regular imperialis, 50 cent size

I had my white imperialis bloom just like Mosaic - both Ted Green and I are convinced the mottling is a virus but it doesn't seem to have spread.

H. imperialis LOVES warmth and loves room around it's feet...they are heavy feeders.

This one is planted in the ground and runs up the wall. The bloom you see is at about a height of 10 feet off the ground

Cape Coral, FL(Zone 10a)

Beautiful!!!
