I found these eating my dwarf Mugo Pine yesterday. This is the first time I've ever seen them. I live in the Pottstown/Gilbertsville area of PA. I also found another similar sized but gray colored on a perennial that ate the entirety except the stems and this is the second year for those pests. I did remove the plant but it grew back. This year I am going to treat the soil as well and hopefuly that won't harm any other plants I have in my gardens. I will take the advice given and use the "Seven" treatment. Hopefully the many cats living on my property won't be harmed. If any more advice, please contact me at my email byginainpa@gmail.com. Thanks!
