I have been waiting for the cabbage started from seeds months age to form a head. Well I looked at the seed packet and realized it is loose leaf cabbage, whatever that means. The plants are huge do I use the leaves like regular cabbage?
Thanks,
Lisa
Loose leaf cabbage
To some extent, good for stuffing and things like that. Otherwise think collards. Most cultivars sold as loose leaf cabbage are oriental in origen and somewhat milder than the American collard.
It actually tastes good just raw but I can't believe I was just letting it grow and waiting for nothing. The seeds are actually from Italy.
