brug in complete shade

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Can Maya do complete shade? If not is there a brug that can? It will be in a pot under a porch.

La Grange, TX(Zone 8b)

The only one I can think off is Snowbank. Here in central Texas, Snowbank can't even take early morning sun without scorching. I keep mine in the shade house when it's not in the greenhouse. It gets very bright light but no direct light. It's a slow grower. Mine hasn't "Y'ed yet so I don't know how much lack of sunlight will affect blooming. Brugs need some direct sunlight to bloom. Would you be able to place it so it could get a few hours of morning a sun? Without some sun, you might end up with a foliage plant.

Brooklyn, NY(Zone 7b)

here in zone 7 I have snowbank in the full sun.. she didwell....now one is in partial shade and is also doing well.. if you find it is not enjoying no sun what so ever.. move it into some sun exposure.. if it senses light off somewhere.. it will get leggy..growing to it..
put it on some wheels.. I imagine.. you've some living area underneath,,yourself.. and wish some brug accompanyment.. not just trying to house something there..
how about The Reishi Mushroom Patch they take dark and temps of 70-80* F..for amusement..

I had snowbank and it did NOT like my solar room during the winter. I moved it to a dimmer area of the house and it died because I forgot about it and I didn't water it....all my fault. Growing slow is an understatement for that brug. Well just a thought.....
