I really would like to add Lillys or daylillys to my landscape. I've never had them before. Is it too late to plant them and get flowers for this year? Any good nurserys near Jacksonville for them? I'm open to any feedback.
Thanks-Lynda
Hey North Carolina folks!
Oh, you have a wonderful day lily farm real close to you.

The people there are so nice. I always stop on my way to the beach just to look. You can buy a variety of 10 plants for $25, I planted mine last year and should get blooms this year. They have some daylilies that cost up to $150 each. Too rich for my pocketbook. I stuck with the 10/$25.
Is it to late to plant? No
I'm not expert on whether you'll get blooms or not this year.

You also have Critter Creek Farm just up the road in Seagrove and there's a couple near Fayetteville, one in Wade. The name escapes me just now, but it's own by Curtis and Linda Sue Barnes.
It is not too late to plant daylilies. In fact, it's perfect weather for it.
Marietta's Open House is this Sunday...........just an FYI. I am going!
Near Columbia this weekend?
Tom Bruce has his annual sale this Sat and the next 2 sat.

Fabulous lilies at dirt cheap prices - they dig them right there. Huge clumps for $5-$15 a clump.
Oh boy! I may have to make a trip to Cola in the next couple of weeks too! LOL
Singing Oakes Daylilies is near Columbia on the Blythewood Road exit. Great nursery, reasonable prices and good folks to deal with.
