Can somebody tell me what this is?
Thanks,
Lisa
ID please
I'm wondering if that might be Brighamia insignis.
I had one at one time....stuck it back in a corner one winter during the mad rush to bring in plants....forgot to water it:(
Thanks, do you know anymore about it? I guess I could look in the plant files.
Lisa
I do recall that they require bright light and rather high humidity.
They're very susceptible to spider mites.
It is a Listed Endangered plant from sea cliffs of Ni'ihau and Kaua'i.
Grow it in well drained soil which is rich in humus. Mist it a few times a day.
My friend is giving one to me now that I hear all this I hope I don't kill it. Does it bloom?
Lisa
Thank you all for your help.
