well that's the first part of it. i want the artists with flowers people involved. sure do. sept. is the time for hips and knees though. maybe i'll have a plant party in sept. or oct. i am going to have extras after i get everything resituated. i just hope this guy i have lined up to work will come through for me. he's young and strong and wants to work. and i can afford him. big plans. truck loads of dirt. new paths. new roses. a princess house for e.v. and a war zone for jack. i've got to have some climbing roses. found a yellow one that is supposed to be vigorous with on and off summer blooming. and just yellow roses in general.
anyway i figure if i tell everyone on daves that i'm doing this that i will just have to make myself do it so as not to lose face with all you people who seem to getrdone.
Who gets it done? Every time I finally manage to finish something, it's time to do it over.
well in this line of work that's the nature of the beast.
As soon as I finish one bed, I suddenly see where I can add or enlarge 2 or 3 more. Last spring I put the final touches on one bed and told my neighbor "I'm finished." She looked at me and said "What does Finished mean to you??" I am forever puttering and nudging and adding and changing things in my yard.
With that, I have two fully functioning hips and knees (well, 2 of each, I mean) and can be called upon to help.

just the way it sounded rolling off your lips was just RIGHT. and i saw 'ol bronc not too long ago. we were both attending the dallas tea party.
Went through the back fusion last August. Thinking all was well. Have done something to my right knee and now I have to have help to stand up straight. Old age is not for sissies.
By September I should be ready for almost anything, Barbara. Sure need some sort of diversion right now.

charlene you must come because i want you to get some daylilies. bring some tags and a marker and some newspaper. and some boxes. my car is paid off in aug. so i'm trying to figure out what i'm going to do with the extra money. so many places. where to start?
actually the first thing i want us to do when you get here is visit a nearby garden. the guy looks like willie nelson and is the most charming and unique texas gentleman you'd ever meet. and is an artistic genious as far as i'm concerned. i just want you to see my inspiration for what i want to accomplish here in my own garden. the problem is that the job is huge and my dadblamed 54 yr. old hip and now my knee have said enough.
back to the garden... we have to move a whole bunch of plants keeping plant tags if you can find them. but it won't be a disaster if we lose one. it's a whole lot more fun for me to see pretty colors than it is to collect.
you should have seen it in april. people were stopping to comment and that was so much fun. i'm not the only crazy one after all. being surrounded by developments makes me feel insular and i cling to individuality to the point of rebellion. and all of a sudden i want to stand up for the texas way of life. where did that come from? where's the adult here? does menopause do this? my brain thinks weird. i know that's what yall are thinkin'. lol

lol. i went with a buddy to hear his band down the road. the kids.... all at their friends. i always get on the computer the last thing at night no matter what time. today i have to shuffle boys to a paint ball game.

i will tell him but everytime i mention it he rolls his eyes. his teacher told me that she reads most all of his stories out loud in class while jack sits with his head down. why do people like this always get all the talent? how can i make him appreciate and USE what God gave him?
Tell him, I'll get the water gun after him if he keeps rolling those eyes!
Now about my little EV, how is she doing?

well charlene she's settling down a little. she was so mad that jack got an award and he's near failing. she makes a's and thinks it's just wrong that he got one. haha she has a boyfriend and tonight she got to go to his house and watch a movie. she is so opinionated and is so proud of it. she goes to high school next year. they will be grown and gone before i know it.
good to see you on here christi. i am scared to death to have all of yall here but i need every one that has working body parts. i am beginning to see a clearer vision. and i hope that everyone that comes brings some ideas. i really want a wonderland of flowers.
Hopefully by then all my parts will be working and we can have a great day. I have the receipient of a garden work day and I think it is a wonderful idea.

Well, I didn't know anything about it until Mike opened the front door and there was Josephine. Bronc had called earlier and asked if he could drop by...nothing unusual, he often did. Soon there was Sheila and Patti.
