Being new to Michigan not used to all the different interesting living things out here. Thought it looked interesting

This is a damselfly (suborder Zygoptera) in the genus Ischnura, possibly the eastern forktail, Ischnura verticalis - see http://tinyurl.com/qasaux for an image.
