Hi, cat lovers. I adopted yesterday. A Maine Coon mix. When I got him home, his eye started to tear up (maybe he's allergic to cats?!) At the Kitty Harbor the eye had been slightly more closed than the other, but not teary. This morning it is dry agin, but I suspect perhaps the tear duct is blocked by dried secretions or tears. When he is more relaxed, I will try a wet tissue on the eye for a bit. If it doesn't clear up, off we go to the vet. Any thoughts?
