planting window boxes

Waltham, MA

Every year I plant window boxes to place on the rail surrounding the sundeck of my home. The deck faces South. What plants are best suited for window boxes with southern exposure? What's the best way to prepare the box and the soil to keep the plants happy all summer long? I'm looking forward to receiving lots of advice. Thanks, Bambee

There are so many great plants that thrive in the sunshine - of course you will need to make sure that they are kept watered and not dry out. Go to my blog at www.gardenplanterstore.blogspot.com for great ideas for what to plant in your window boxes and cotainers.
