Too many Lauras

Topeka, KS(Zone 5b)

There are 'way too many Lauras running around in Dave's Garden, so I signed up as Blonde Elf -- the name of a hosta. Hostas are my favorites. I never thought about gardening until we moved into a house 6 years ago that had a yard overgrown with weeds and sickly shrubs. In trying to "purtify" the landscape, I got hooked. I planted a hosta in a shady corner. It looked lonesome, so I added a few more hostas. I've been adding hostas ever since.

I live in Zone 5 and garden in rock-hard Kansas clay. I'm glad to find DavesGarden and meet everyone here. And, just a few days after I registered, Dave added a hosta forum! Yippee.

OK - I'd like to see other members of the hosta forum sign in and introduce themselves.

Hallo, Blonde Elf! Great name! Welcome to the Garden. In previous gardens in different parts of UK and Norway, I've had hostas, but none at the moment, so I'm letting you down about being in a hosta forum, but just wanted to say 'welcome'.
