I found this tomato buried under the tomato bush type in my 5 gallon HE bucket, I don't think it's BER as it is not black at the part where the stem is, it's at the opposite end what is wrong with this: I have 4 pics of it:

What is wrong with this tomato?
Id post that on the tomato forum. They will know in a heartbeat. Lots of good info there too. I call anything that starts at the bottom...BER.
Garden Glory: Thanks. A strong wind just blew my favorite tomato plant over AGAIN!!! Maybe I need to learn the art of pruning tomato plants?

i was browsing to see if pruning has been covered here. I Googled and found a link or two, then I pruned my tomatoes as well.
i still would like to know who prunes their tomatoes. thanks.
Moonglow: Me too, all I have heard about so far, is grow this in this particular potting mix or in coir and then you will have fine veggies, in the meantime, I got tomato plants big as trees out here in my back yard and staking them to the ground so they don't topple over. LOL I think the tomatoes looking that way is from too much water, as we have had one rain storm that has been continuous now for better than a week. I'm going to hit the plants with the rot stop again here when the rain lets up and then also a day later spray with fertilome triple action plus again just for good measure. I started clipping off some vines today off the tomato plants and leaves. Tried to leave the vines with yellow flowers on them alone though.
I've heard so many things from triming tomato plants to pinching the tops of them to keep them from growing too tall and was also told that pinching them causes them to grow out instead of up. You aren't going to believe this one, I have roots from my eggplant and peppers now coming out the bottom of my EBs now into the reservoir. I've had some massive root systems going on this Spring.
