Hummers are back!!!!!!!!!!!

Broxton, GA(Zone 8b)

My hummingbirds are back finally. Maybe they really were nesting after all. My husband saw them last week feeding at my salvias that I purchased from Gapeahen and I saw them today at a feeder that is hanging on my porch. Has anyone elses' that left returned yet? Sharon , Broxton, GA

Hi, Sharon, Congrats on getting your HBs back!

I think several forum posters reported their HBs returned on other threads, too. Ours have been buzzing in and out of our woods, checking out my Major Wheeler (red) honeysuckles and our feeders.

Just bought several more of those (large-mouthed-easy-to-clean) plastic feeders from Walmart for very cheap. I'm expecting a big HB population this summer! (-:

Mom spotted one this week outside the window. I knew they'd be back as soon as the porterweed started blooming again!

They would freeze where you live but you could grow them as an annual.
