Seeking: Bee Balm & Porterweed

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Does anyone have any Bee Balm clumps or Blue Porterweed seeds that I could send shipping for? I'm trying to get a butterfly/hummingbird garden up and going this summer and now that the obsession haze has passed I've discovered the limits of my teaching salary. lol I'm an uber-noob at plant trading, and the thought of offering up anything I have plagues me with visions of sending a plant that dies en route. :(

I agree Bella - I was wondering about this whole plant trading thing myself. I came here to read up a bit and see what I can learn. I'd like to find a little less expensive way and I think it could be fun to share plants with other people and watch them grow.

Urbanlily--perhaps we should test out a plant mailing on each other. :) I need to build a list of potentially trade-able plants. There's a great sticky with info; I just need to spend some more time reading up on mailing techniques.
