crinums or amaryllis?

I just got these at a RU and don't know if they are crinums or amaryllis. Please help. thanks, Mary Lee

Yes a Crinum - would you know what variety. We have many crinums here in South Africa. I collect seed from mine. Grow very easily and flower in 3 or 4 years.

It is impossible for me to know unless I see it's blooms. Maybe someone else can tell you, though.

These were volunteered by somebody clearing out a bed and given to Cajun in Tx who brought them to a RU. So they'll be a complete surprise when the bloom.

I can assure you that they will be beautiful - I've not seen an 'ugly' bloom, and they grow like weeds here in my neck of the woods! Post a picture so we can see.
