can anyone tell me of some hatchers that have bantums. iam not haven any luck i want babies. i have gotten some from eagls nest and not good lost 1/2 of them, most of them were cochins , and i do know how to care for chicks. please help thanks cookie

Hi Cookster: I do know that the Hatcheries have had a terrible year, trying to fill orders. We have five feed stores within ten miles of us and they have had a terrible time getting babies. Murray McMurray sell's banties all the time, but don't know if you can get any from them for sure or not. I know I tried to increase an order and the lady told me it they had to wait until July before they could fill the order. So good luck! What a good time to consider hatching your own. Haystack

What about My Pet Chicken? I have never ordered through the mail but I have looked at their web site. It seemed reasonable. Have you tried local people? Craiglist sometimes has local people selling poultry. Its worth a try. Check your paper also. You may get lucky. Good luck. :)
