do you plant okra plants like tomatoes? or keep at soil level
okra planting depth
Last week I planted okra that I'd started in 4" pots. They were only a week old but had already formed extensive roots that held the soil together. I tried to set at the same depth they were growing and watered in. They are looking fine and never missed a beat.
ok thanks twig, i have 6 i started and they all have about 2 true leaves, i'll get them n the ground soon...
Angie I forgot to mention that I gave them some water soluble fert when they got the first leaves. They grow like weeds.
ok, i put mine in the ground yesterday that i had already amended with cow manure last w/e. I had fed them a couple times prior to planting out....
